Everyone at this company is very friendly and professional. My heating system was no good over the weekend(very old) I called on Monday and Tuesday John and Jordan came out and replaced both heating and AC units. Rob was quick to get his people out here knowing I had no HEAT. Many people in my complex have used this company over the years, and recommended them to me. I have also done the same to others. Christina in the office got my paperwork and Rebate sent in very quickly..

We recently had a ductless split unit installed in our home by American Air Inc. and were very happy and pleased with how smoothly things went. We felt we got good value and the team at American Air was very easy to deal with. Junior did the install in a quick and timely fashion. I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services as they are reliable, professional, and do quality work.
Rob was professional, friendly and an honest guy. He took the time to explained how each system would be installed. He and his crew (Junior & Joe) were here the following week and they did a great job installing a Mitsubishi system for my 1st floor and Central AC for the upstairs. Rob took the time to come back a few days later to explain some of the features of the Mitsubishi system and see if I had and questions or concerns. I highly recommend American Air Inc. In fact my brother just contacted American Air Inc. for a quote.
I contacted American Air in need of someone to fix a job that another contractor left with many problems. Rob came out immediately and gave me an estimate and worked with me to make things right. Not only did they do a great job and fix the other contractors mess but they helped me with all my Mass Save rebates. Richie was the one who came to the house and did the job and I feel like he always went the extra step and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for HVAC needs.
After our Central Air unit needed to be replaced, we were referred to American Air. From the communication with Rob with getting a quote, to Kathleen with her quick responses to my questions, to the prompt and great work that Alex and Jordan performed with the install…It was a great experience all around. I cannot recommend them enough!
I can’t begin to thank you enough for the fabulous service you have been providing to us during this past month. I doesn’t seem like a Friday without a HVAC catastrophe. I call, and presto – (your employee) appears – Friday after 5:00, after everybody else has gone home for the weekend. The problem is solved, and our business continues without a ripple. Richie, Alex, and Joe arrived every day at 7 am and completed the job in a timely manner. They installed mini splits in the middle of July, which included working in a very hot attic. Every day they cleaned up and kept me updated on how the work was progressing. We are extremely happy with the job they did. Christina in the office even completed the warranty forms and rebates for us. Highly recommend!
We had an A/C heat pump system installed 3 years ago and never looked back. Installers were professional and courteous. The system runs very quietly and efficiently. Just had our yearly maintenance performed by Chan for the second year. He was on time, courteous and knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend American Air to someone looking or a new A/C heating system
American Air has performed two installations of air condition systems at my home over the past 14 years. Each time, the technicians did an excellent job, worked very cleanly, and were friendly and knowledgeable. American Air is very responsive when emergencies arise and their technicians make fixes in a very timely manner. Great company to do business with!
We’ve been using American Air since moving to Rowley 5 years ago. They are very efficient and reliable. The office staff is flexible with scheduling for service and extremely accommodating. The service man Chan is super! He’s always on time, professional, efficient in his work, and always cleans up after working in our home. I had the gentlemen fro American Air install a complete new central air system, duct work and all. And I will say that I am very pleased with the results and quality of work completed by American Air. Overall they were very professional and caring in making sure job was done to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend American Air to someone needing service or installation of an air condition system.
These people did top notch work. Very professional and informative along the way. The new system is in. It was done in a timely matter to my convenience. They cleaned up after themselves and other than the new cool and quiet air I would have never noticed they were there. We are very happy with the products and the service. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them with confidence.
Excellent work, excellent service. Highly recommend! Set up an appointment with Cindy to get my non-functioning central air back up and running on an usually hot September day. Richie came by and couldn’t have been any more professional and determined to get our AC running. Absolutely one of the best experiences I have had.
We have been using American Air for our properties. They are tops notch, reliable and very friendly crew. They are very responsive when emergency service is needed. their installs are meticulous. They did a very large install for us under the estimated time frame that it was going to take and the lead tech Richie was great at communicating with tenants. Highly recommend them very professional.
I’ve been using American Air since I moved to Tewksbury a year ago. I found them on Yelp and noticed they were located in town so I figured I’d get pretty good response times. I’ve had them come by a handful of times since I moved in. I typically get their technician Jordan who is always very friendly, respectful, and will take the time to explain to me how my systems work and what he’s doing. I met with the owner Rob as well when I needed a quote for replacing one of my furnaces (that was nearing 30 years old). He was respectful, wasn’t pushy, and explained to me the rebate programs for upgrading my system and also let me know that his company would do the paperwork for my rebate for me (which they did!). When I had a last minute scheduling issue pop up he was more than open to rescheduling by a few weeks which I appreciated considering a furnace/condenser replacement is an all day job. I’ve signed up for their yearly maintenance contract due to the fast and friendly service they’ve provided since I’ve moved in.
Great job! One of the A/C units in our Andover house was not working so the bedrooms were not cooled – temps in those rooms were 90 degrees. I called American Air and they were able to schedule a service call very quickly. The technician arrived at our home at around 4:45 pm and stayed until 6 pm to fix the system. I really appreciated American Air fitting our call in at the last minute and fixing the problem.
They recently installed ductless ACs in my home. They finished the work in less time than estimated and even helped me find an electrician to upgrade my panel. They also registered my equipment for the warranty and applied for my MassSave rebates. Overall, I am very happy with the service provided.

However, I recently attempted to have a larger project scheduled but experienced some miscommunication/scheduling issues that caused me to seek these services elsewhere.
**UPDATE: Although some of the statements made in the owner’s response are a little misleading and I found it a bit suspicious that he only responded after my review posted, I’ve since cooled off and spoken with another trusted contractor in the area that had nice things to say about him.
Therefore, in light of that contractor’s comments, the response of the owner, and the fact that it was only a communication issue (no workmanship problems), I have decided to edit/upgrade this review. It’s obvious that he cares about his business profile, and I was probably being overly critical due to being upset over missing a half-day of work.
